Mixed Mode Multiple Output Programmable DC Power Supplies

The MX Series represents a new generation of multiple output laboratory power supplies from Aim-TTi. Offering high power within a compact format they use ranged switched mixed-mode regulation with display and control via a backlit graphic LCD and soft keys. Every output has full functionality including fully variable voltage and current, CV/CI operation, individually switched output, and selectable remote sense.

There are four base models MX100T, MX180T, MX100Q and MX103Q. The 'T' suffix indicates a 'triple' output power supply and the 'Q' is a 'quad' output. Each is available as a remote programmable version, indicated by a P suffix (e.g., MX100TP). The 100 and 180 refer to the nominal channel power, however, because of power-sharing and range switching, the actual power from a single output is double this by disabling or reducing power on other channels. From the end of 2023, the Quad channel versions went to Series 2 which introduced the colour screen, enhanced power sharing and 'Triplink' - the ability to configure multiple channels to trip simultaneously on over voltage or over current conditions.
