FX Series DC Supplies - PowerFlex Regulation
PowerFlex Regulation for flexible output voltage and current capabilities
A conventional PSU has a fixed maximum current limit giving a power capability that reduces directly with output voltage. The TTi PowerFlex design enables higher currents to be generated at lower voltages or higher voltages to be generated at lower currents within an overall power limit envelope. Whereas it's common for a conventional power supply series to be available in different voltage and current combinations in order to cover a range of applications, a PowerFlex design allows one device to replace multiple such units. The FX100DP and FX100TP both have two PowerFlex outputs capable of up to 42V or up to 6A within a power limit envelope of 105W. The FX100TP has an additional conventional power supply channel capable of 6V and 6A (36W).
